Microsoft has announced the successful submissions for the first round of Windows 8 First Apps Contest. Here is a list of successful entries that I know of:
Air Soccer by Imran Shafiq @danglingneuron
Air Soccer is a port of my WP7 game Air Soccer Tour – Its a casual – swipe soccer game available in 1 player and 2 player mode. Could not port tournament mode and other features due to time constraints.
Physamajig by Andy Beaulieu @andybeaulieu
Physamajig is a port of his WP7 app Paint to Life – An interesting physics based paint application, you have to see the video on his blog to appreciate it.
Casual Game by Tim Greenfield @timegreenfield
No information is available on the entry, probably a port of his WP7 game Puzzle Touch – a neat casual puzzle game that breaks pictures into jigsaw puzzles.
FlipSaw by Ratish Philip – @ratishphilip
Jigsaw puzzle – details not available
